11/8 Bipolar disorder

Bipolar disorder is a disorder that makes you have very dramatic mood shifts. And or energy and ability to think clearly. These mood shifts will switch from stuff known as mania to depression. The average age of this disorder is 25, but it can occur in teens. This disorder effects men and women equally. With 2.8% of the U.S. population are diagnosed. 83% of cases are severe. The symptoms of BD are distinct manic or depression that may go on for long periods of time. Severe bipolar with manic or depression will be accompanied by hallucinations or delusions. These psychotic symptoms can be mistakenly diagnosed as schizophrenia. People with BD may not understand the negative consequences of their actions. If you have BD suicide is an ongoing danger. Many people with BD give off manic vibes. The three main causes of BD are genetics, stress, and brain structure and function.
